Description: This as is in memory of Big Al, a Mustang Fanatic since he was 15. He bought a '69 Fastback from the original owner 11 years ago, and he never got any further than that. When he purchased it, it had a new big block engine and all the undercariage was new as well. No after market parts, these are all pure Ford. It has racing harnesses in it and he drove it home at 120 MPH, and said it was the ride of his life. It is the original light yellow color and nothing has been altered or changed. The interior has to be replaced, but as far as rust or being wrecked, it has no rust and has never been wrecked. He always kept it garaged and so did the original owners. After he bought the car, he began to feel not quite up to par, but chalked it up to working too hard. It gradually grew worse. Still, we went to all the car shows and he decided to paint it a "bing cherry" color. He was a true artist with a paint gun. In 2004, he had no energy to do anything, but kept on working and making plans for the Mustang. In December of 2004, he really went down hill, in spite of the fact that he put a second story on our home. In December of 2004, he got so weak, he could not function and I got him to the doctor where they finally found he was so severly anemic, he didn't have enough blood to be alive. He had transfunsions and took one thousand units of iron daily. When he felt stronger, he had some tests done, which showed him in end stage colon cancer that had spread to his liver. It was terminal. He was 43, and never had one single symptom. 2005 was a nightmare for him, as he suffered so badly, but was always looking at his Mustang, hoping and praying he could finish it. That car was his pride and joy and he loved it. On December 5th of 2005, he passed away, never realizing his dream. He was 44, a big guy with a big heart and the love of my life. I have not gone to the garage to see the car, but will tomorrow. The body is in good shape and it is not a piece of junk by any means. My name is on the title, so I can sell it. Please, can someone tell me what this car is worth? I know it is worth plenty and I am not giving it away. I know there is someone out there who can give me some ideas on how to price this car. Al started it a lot and raced up and down our street, and mechanically, it is great. This is very hard for me, and I ask that serious inquires only be submitted. I will take some photos of it and post them. My heart breaks every time I look at it. He told me whre every receipt was located, but I cannot find them, but will look until I do. He had been so sick for the past year, I don't know where he put things. If you have an interest or can help me with pricing it, please e-mail me. This will be one knock out of a mustang in the right hands. Thanks for your help and I hope someone will write. The car is located in Washington State and has been garaged al its life. Many thanks and I hope to hear from someone with some knowledge soon.
