1988 Mustang LX Coupe, 410 cubic inch Windsor based engine.
Engine: FRPP -W351 siamese bore block (4 bolt mains on 2, 3, and 4), 0.040 over, Eagle forged crank, Eagle H- beam rods with upgraded ARP bolts, custom built Wiseco forged pistons, TFS-R heads with ARP studs, Crane roller rockers, GT-40 lower intake with Holcomb sheet metal upper, Cam Motion solid roller (big), Hex-a-just timing gear/chain, 94.5#/hr injectors, Mallory aluminum fuel rails, 86mm SVO throttle body, 107mm Pro-M MAF, MSD 6A and Blaster coil, Accell billet distributor, Paxton Novi2000 supercharger with cog drive and custom bracket, double keyway thick hub SFI balancer, high volume oil pump, Canton oil pan, Dual oil filter remote mount with braided lines, FRPP EPEC engine control computer wired in stand-alone mode. Shortblock was machined/built by LSM Motorsports.
Fuel: Paxton external fuel pump & filter, braided lines for everything, Paxton pressure regulator.
Exhaust: Large, long tube headers (1 7/8" or 2", 3.5" exhaust with x-pipe and Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers with turndowns.
Drivetrain: Centerforce DF clutch, Lakewood SFI bellhousing, Tremec TKO trans w/ Pro 5.0 shifter, driveshaft loop, 3.73 gears with 31 spline Auburn pro diff, SVO rear end cover/girdle.
Interior: Recovered "GT" seats, grey with red accents. 6 point roll bar, good condition. Autometer liquid filled water temp, oil pressure inside; fuel pressure and boost outside. Autometer monster tach w/shift light inside.
Exterior: Painted vermillion red in pretty good shape, new head and tail lights, small cowl hood with dzus fasteners, fuel door eliminated w/fuel cell in the trunk along with the Optima battery w/cut-off switch, M/T Sportsman Pro rear tires, Centerline Convo Pro wheels.
Suspension: Tubular front LCA w/coilover setup, rear has stock upper control arms and SSM lift bars as lowers. Airbags in both rear springs.
I have a ton of money into this car which I know I won't make back. I need money for a downpayment on a house. I have only had it at the track twice, and last time out it went 11.96 @ 110 coasting (would have been over 135 if I hadn't let off) and a low 12 @ 128mph with terrible 60 ft times and spinning through the first 3 gears. These runs were on pump gas and a safe/rich tune. With a good driver and some slicks, this is a high 9 - low 10 second car that can still be driven on the streets. Car made 549hp on a Mustang dyno. There is quite a bit of power left in the tune and upping the boost.
Asking $12,000 obo.
