I have a 1984 GT turbo that previos owner converted to a carb'd 302. The car is apart right now, but willing to put it back together if needed. I have rebuilt the carb, put on an Air Gap intake, cam, K&N, T-5 trans, and a new distributor. The carb is a Holley 4180 650cfm, Intake is a Professional Products CrossWind, the cam is from Comp Cams and is a .512 lift 280 adv dur; 230 dur @.050 lift. The tranny has just been rebuilt and has not been installed yet. The heads are DO8A and have not been touched. It has a 7.5" rear end with 3.08's and an Auburn carrier. The distributor is a take off from an early 302. Vacum advance. It is an electronic, and not a points. The car does need a Ignition box or a Ignition Control Module. One or the other. The car runs great. last time at the track it ran 13.90@99mph with a 1.97 60', on street tires. PDL, manual windows, PS, NO A/C. Removed A/C when I pulled the motor. Any questions E-mail me @ excessiveforcemotorsports@yahoo.com or call me at 704-641-5600. You must pick it up. I'm not driving it or pulling it anywhere, sorry. Thanks. Later.
